Message from Son Parc Water Company:
As in previous years, and with the arrival of summer, Son Parc Water Company is joining the campaigns being carried out in the various municipalities of Menorca to inform residents and request their cooperation in the responsible consumption of drinking water, given the decrease in water reserves in the island's aquifers.
We would like to detail the most important actions that should be taken for the responsible consumption of drinking water, which mainly affect the watering of gardens, trees, green areas, and sports fields, and especially the filling and maintenance of swimming pools, as well as the washing of vehicles, among other things.
We are sending you a statement with measures you can implement, if you haven't already, to achieve this goal together, as we understand that neither the price nor the surcharges for drinking water consumption significantly reduce consumption, but rather it is primarily and fundamentally the direct collaboration of the subscriber with the responsible use of water, a limited and essential resource for everyone, that can and should guarantee a sustainable and efficient supply for the entire urbanisation.

Como en años anteriores, y con la llegada del verano, la Compañía de Aguas Son Parc se suma a las campañas que se llevan a cabo en los distintos municipios de Menorca para informar a los residentes y solicitar su colaboración en el consumo responsable de agua potable, dada la disminución de las reservas hídricas en los acuíferos de la isla.
Nos gustaría detallar las acciones más importantes que deben realizarse para el consumo responsable de agua potable, que afectan principalmente al riego de jardines, árboles, zonas verdes y campos deportivos, y especialmente al llenado y mantenimiento de piscinas, así como al lavado de vehículos, entre otros.
Les enviamos un comunicado con medidas que pueden implementar, si aún no lo han hecho, para lograr este objetivo juntos, ya que entendemos que ni el precio ni los recargos por consumo de agua potable reducen significativamente el consumo, sino que es principalmente y fundamentalmente la colaboración directa del abonado con el uso responsable del agua, un recurso limitado y esencial para todos, lo que puede y debe garantizar un suministro sostenible y eficiente para toda la urbanización.
